The power of bright colours, I think maybe it’s living in London where everything can seem a little grey, black and white if you’re not careful, that makes me lust after vibrant pops of colour in my wardrobe.
So obviously I was filled with joy at this seasons 70’s style revival and it’s eye catching bright shades. With that in mind, my starting point today is this zesty little yellow number from Joules. This yellow coat is destined to become my fail safe jacket of the season, fun and practical. It’s my April showers coat and I love it.
Spring will also see me need to replace my current blue/black well-loved skinny jeans, and although I’m embracing the whole 70’s flared jeans thing, a pair of skinnies will always remain one of my wardrobe staples. So I’ve got my eyes on those slinky skinnies too. Next the all-essential striped shirt or top a must have transitional piece it seems this season, stripes seem to be everywhere. So I’m considering picking one of those up.
The Top: now even though the warmer weather may not be upon us just yet, I’m already looking for pieces in lighter fabrics ready for its arrival. I adore this dropped sleeve top with dove print design, as I love a versatile number that can go from day to night and that’s easy to style.
Extras: other sweet things I found included the leather coin purse with gold bunny dangle and Pearly earrings. Finished off with the gold plated bracelet which I would love to don since I’m obsessed with anything with bunny’s on (or in this case a hare to be exact)
So that’s my wishlist. Which picks got your vote? or what are you loving at the moment? let me know!
