New additions: Not all homeware stores are created equal, I have a few chosen favourites which I regularly check for new arrivals. Currently, I’m loving the nostalgia of warm cozy nights in as the festive season with all its charm and sparkle draws ever nearer. So here are a few of my recent homeware additions some that simply needed updating others that I just fell for their charm.
Starting with one of my favorite stores Anthropologie, which you know you have a serious addiction to when you ask your husband whilst on holiday in the US if we can pack four glass tumblers safely enough in our luggage to survive the long haul flight home (he’s a darling – agreed and yes those gorgeous glasses did arrive in one piece) Although for some reason they are not on the UK Anthropologie website so I don’t have the link but can tell you they are made by the American artisan glass company Mosser just be aware their direct website is far too tempting if you like boho style glassware.
Next, the Panasonic SD-ZB2512 breadmaker has been on my tech radar since its release, between working as a freelance writer, beauty therapist, blogging and general life admin it sounded like just the game changing gadget for me. Whilst I can rustle up a simple one rise soda bread more intricate bakes, such as sourdough and spelt which can be notoriously tricky are just too time consuming. This new age wonder makes every thing from Xmas stolen to malted grain and apple loaves it even has a specific setting for spelt and rye (there’s over 60 bread machine recipes by Panasonic for this model) So possibly not the most glam but the smell of cinnamon floating through my home on cold dark evenings not to mention the timer so fresh bread can be ready for breakfast makes this the next item on my to purchase list.
I’m a minimal girl at heart, but the festival season calls for all things merry and bright, so what better way to add a festive pop of colour and texture than this gorgeous Verdure tree skirt made of embroidered wool with acrylic embellishments again from Anthropologie . If that’s your thing just check out their Christmas stockings too…….
Finally, the marble and wood chopping board at a purse friendly steal of £12.95 to replace a wooden one that wrongly ended up in the dishwasher, those alabaster and brass book ends are from West Elm and a few gold coloured bits and pieces well it is the metal of the moment!
What’s on your homeware wishlist, Let me know?
