If you haven’t heard it’s almost that time of year again. London Fashion Week will be upon us in just over a month. It’s when some of Britain’s best Fashion designers will be showcasing their collections for A/W 2015. I can’t wait to see the colours, styles, hair & make up looks which will ultimately filter down into our very own wardrobes.
So with that inspiration I’ve compiled my own designer wish list for 2015. The items I usually include on a designer wish list are staples. Items I will come back to year after year.
First on the list is the biker Jacket. Oh how I love my current biker jacket but unfortunately it’s now looking a bit too well loved, more OTT distressed leather to be honest…. So 2015 will see me investing in a replacement and I have my eyes firmly fixed on this suede one from BLK DNM, *drool* and then of course the black suede buckle boots to match completed with BLK DNM’s wayfarers, this is a wish list after all.
Next are two items from one of my favourite designers J.W Anderson. I first became aware of J.W when he did a collaboration with Topshop shop a few years ago. If you’re not familiar, J.W Anderson is renowned for his chic take on androgynous style but also for his crazy gorgeous knit wear that features his signature knotting, loops and bands. I own a grey J.W knotted knit, it’s a firm favourite as it goes with a million and one things, but I’m loving these bright knits or oversized cardigans recently teamed with stretch leather pants. They’re the perfect winter mood brighteners.
Next the midnight leather twist bag so easily wearable for day or night, every girl needs a versatile bag and this one has me smitten. I can’t wait to see what he has in store for this years A/W 2015 show. His previous spring/summer collection was fantastical, so I’m sure people will be dashing to take their seats this year and how I would love to be one of them!
Finally finishing off with the metallic of the moment, rose gold. As I mentioned in an earlier post I’ve taken the plunge recently to purchase better quality jewellery simply to avoid re purchasing similar style items that I love and wear on a regular basis due to the dreaded jewellery fade. Both rings are rose gold plated and from jewellery designer Maria Black (the skinnier one of the two priced at £75) and can be worn above or below the knuckle depending on the size you choose. How amazingly gorgeous are they?
Well That’s my Designer Wonderlust Wish List for 2015, Which items do you like? or is there anything that you would love to buy this year or put on your own wish list?
