I’ve been searching for a little seasonal wardrobe refresh recently, and although spring isn’t actually until the 20th March I’ve really been enjoying browsing the S/S 2015 fashion trends. So here’s a little flatlay homage to spring with some of the pieces that I can’t wait to start wearing properly once the warmer weather finally arrives.
Fringing, Denim and Stripes; I’m loving this nostalgic wander back through fashion to the 70’s era making it entirely credible to wear fringing in any form (cue – black suede cross over tassel bag), from shirt hems to jackets, bags and shoes. I will be adopting fringing in any form.
Denim on denim, how irresistible are all the little denim dresses out there at the moment, having had my eye on one by Alexa Chung for AG (which I’m relieved to say at £295 is now sold out – temptation over) I started browsing around and after trying on a few found this little number via Asos which isn’t too far removed. The denim is gorgeous and silky it’s super flattering plus quite a bargain at £24.99
Say it with stripes – This lighter cardigan jacket is from a brand I’m liking and have newly discovered called Monki. They offer a Scandinavian twist on street style with a bit of personality if that’s your thing, plus you can’t go wrong with a bit of monochrome this piece will go with a multitude of outfits.
Finally a bit of 70’s jewellery bling and Chelsea Ankle boots – yeah I know not exactly spring/summer but even the thought of flashing toes or ankles yet is just not happening so comfy boots was my walking into spring option just for the moment at least….
So that’s my current outfit for S/S 2015. Which picks got your vote or have you made any spring purchases yet? Let me know.
