Green And Metallics – “Autumn’s It Colours”

Autumn/Winter fashion is upon us, So here’s a peek at some of this years catwalk inspired trends for eyes and nails. This year saw metallic eyes widely favoured on the AW-14 runways ranging from shimmering blues and greens washed over the entire lid by Dior or silver simply dotted in the corner of the eyes and the center of the lips as seen on Alexander McQueen.

My everyday or in a rush – Abracadaabra easy way to apply metallic eye shadow, is to simply sweep it over the entire lid and blend away slightly. Choose a subtle shade for daytime such as the ones below (following the grungy green trend which was also seen on nails) copper or bronze would also work. Finish with a little brow definition using a brow kit or one of the popular brow gels available. Two coats of your favourite Mascara and your Done. For Evening simply swap in some brighter metallic hues into your normal smokey eye look.

So switch out one or two of your standard make up items for a metallic shade to capture this look. Two I’m loving at the moment from Mac for this autumn look are Sumptuous Olive and Coppering. You could use either of these shades alone or as I prefer blended together. Green And Metallics - "Autumn's It Colours"

i have to say, it might be boring but bronze is my favourite metallic – i just think it suits everyone! maybelline eye tattoo in ‘on & on bronze’ is amazing.
