Coachella kicked off this year’s festival season with a host of style muses to inspire us ahead of Glastonbury, Wireless, Bestival and beyond. Festivals present the perfect opportunity for fashion freedom to run wild so with that in mind, here’s a selection of my favourite festival appropriate pieces
Light summer dresses tick multiple festival boxes – they are easy to pack, keep you cool when the temperature soars and look great with boots or sandals. I adore this off the shoulder boho print midi dress from JD Williams teamed with layered necklaces and stacked rings. Festivals require you to be up all day and up all night so you want your outfit to be comfortable.
Footwear – At UK festivals, you can often consider wellies your best friend but for when the sun does come out I’ve got my eyes on those tan suede fringe sandals or lace up gladiators – versatile, rock from day to night and easy to style.
Finally, Keep it simple – a printed tee (or I adore this black dip hem tee with folk-inspired embroidery), short’s and flat shoes or boots these are festival fashion style staples for good reason.
It’s that glorious time of year again; when the sun comes out! Have you started festival or summer outfit shopping yet?
