Planning ahead – for marvellous mums, today I’m sharing my top 12 cute mothers day gift ideas for a variety of purse strings that any mum would love to receive.
Commencing with three fail safe beauty products from the brand L’Occitane. Pivoine Sublime Perfecting Facial Mist* is a delicate and refreshing treat. A spritz of this rejuvenating facial mist revives and rehydrates skin. The subtle fragrance of peony is delightful and soothes the mind and senses – A perfect mid-day beauty fix.
The next item falls under the on-the-go category – roller ball fragrances are such a convenient beauty invention (no larger than a tube of mascara). The Cherry blossom fragrance* is my personal favourite from L’ Occitane it contains cherry extract from the Luberon region of southern France and offers a soft floral fruity fragrance.
Hand cream is a must for winter worn skin. Vert & Bigarade* is a unique blend of refreshing botanical extracts, aromatic green tea and zesty bitter orange combined with powerful moisturisers, nourish the skin providing deep long-lasting hydration with immediate softening effects.
Next lux items, something a little special that mum’s wouldn’t necessarily purchase for them selves. Tom ford lipsticks are the ultimate in wearable lasting lip colour. Which ever shade you choose Mr Ford’s lipsticks are nothing short of magical all the wonderous claims about these lipstick are totally true! If lipstick is not to your mum’s taste, maybe an iconic Chanel nail polish or luxury lace briefs?
The earrings are the steal deal (£16.00) designed by Jenny Packham these are actually rose gold plated so won’t tarnish after a few wear’s.
Finally the surprise gift – one of my tried and tested favourites, I organised a surprise (healthy) hen party and milestone birthday party last year and if you’re looking for memories to cherish, maybe a few tears of happiness and lots of laughter. The suprise event is the one. Think – coffee at your local cafe then whisking your mum off for a decadent afternoon tea somewhere glamorous. I guarantee she will love it!
Do you have any tried and tested mothers day gift’s I’d love to know?
